CodePlex Users: Cast your Vote...

I started doing this ChangeBlog because of the limitations on what could be put in description upon check-in. While I have every intention of continuing to record changes here, I'd love to at least be able to put a real (not Cut & Paste) link to them in the CodePlex Change Set descriptions. So, if you agree, and have a moment, please vote for this functionality to be added!

I agreed and I cast my vote! Eric, thank you on the incredible job on Subsonic -- I use it everyday and it keeps getting better.

I've been asking Rob to consider adding support for changing connection strings on the fly:
actionpack.wekeroad.com/forums/thread/2613.aspx
I was able to do this by extending the activerecord save object -- Save(username, connectionStr) and then extending the ExecuteScalar calls in dataservice and the providers. As I said in the post I'm willing to help on this but you or Rob might have a better way to accomplish this. Let me know if I can help.
